Clyde

Kai & Clyde

Kai ia a 9 yr old, 14 lb male black and tan, dachshund/min pin and/or rat terrier mix. He is very sweet and wants everyone to love him. He is very sensative to the emotions of his people and can be a finicky eater. His owner gives him shredded chicken on his kibble to encourage him to eat. He is a good watchdog and will bark when strangers appear, but not a constant barker, and is generally quiet. He uses his front paws and his mouth to touch everything. It is done more out of curiosity and not any aggression, but tell him no and he will stop. He is pretty springy and can jump very high. He loves to lap surf and be with his people. He is neutered, chipped, current on vaccinations and had a dental.in Sept 2021.

Clyde is a 9 yr old, 25 lb black and tan, smooth coated, male, standard dachshund and is neutered, current on his vaccinations.
Clyde is ok with most other dogs and would be best in a home with no children or cats. He is wary of strangers and it is best to have a supervised introduction. He does initially prefer women, but does warm up to men. He does like to play with his toys and with Kai. Clyde is not a boy who wants to be picked up or cuddled, but does love to hang out with you on the couch under his blanket. He does like to take walks, but does not care for skateboards, or scooters.

The boys sleep in their dog beds, are leash trained and house trained with full time access to a doggie door. They are being rehomed as their owners are moving and a family member has developed an aggressive dog allergy. They are a bonded pair and it is hoped they are adopted together.
