Roxy
Meet Roxy, a 10 yr old, 20 lb. black and tan female Dachshund/Queensland Heeler mix located in Sacramento. She is a pretty girl with a loving personality and is a cuddle bug. She loves to play with her ball will chase it when thrown, but hasn't got the concept of bringing it back yet. She also loves her stuffies and unstuffing them is one of her favorite things to do. If there is more than one dog in the home she does understand which toys are her designated toys and will only unstuff them. She is good with adults and older children (10+), but is also a good watch dog. She lives with four cats and is good with them, but will chase strays. She is good with other larger dogs, but not smaller ones. She is house trained, leash trained, crate trained and likes to go for car rides. Roxy is being rehomed as her owners schedules have changed and they also recently moved to a home with a smaller yard, so she is spending a good deal of time alone in a yard smaller than she is used to. Also, they are expecting their first baby and Roxy is not good with little children. She is used to being fed homemade food and carrots and whipped cream are her favorite treats. She would do good in a home with other, larger dogs, but would do best as an only dog in a quiet, loving, preferably retired/stay at home household. Roxy is spayed and micro chipped. She will make an awesome addition to the right home.
