Roxy

​Meet Roxy, A 10 yr old, 20 lb., black and tan long haired, chubby tweenie, female dachshund, located in Redwood Valley, CA. She is a very pretty and sweet little girl who loves to be with her people and playing with her toys. She has a select few toys she really enjoys. She is good with cats, most other dogs, adults and older children (10 yrs old +). She is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door, but if one is not available will go out when offered. She is not leash trained, but doesn't appear it would take much to get her used to a leash to take her on walks as she is eager to please. She likes to ride in the car and is good for the groomers. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate. Roxy is used to having her human momma with her a majority of the time, but sadly, she (her human momma) has passed. The family has taken her in, but they work full time with hectic schedules and feel Roxy would be happier in a home that can give the time and attention she needs. We believe Roxy would do best in a home with a retired idividual or someone who works from home. She is spayed and current on her vaccinations. We are certain Roxy will make the perfect addition to the right home.
