Rudi

​Meet Rudi, an 11 yr old, 9.7 lb, smooth coated, black and tan male dachshund located in Los Gatos. This handsome little man is overall pretty easy going and is a real snuggler, but is lively and can be a real character. He loves to play with his squeaky toys, but his favorite thing is to open wrapped up gifts. He is good with other dogs, but probably not really big ones. He has historically been in a multi dog home, but would probably do well as an only dog if they are retired or work from home. He is good with cats and has lived with one for several years. He is good with adults and older children (10+). He is house trained, leash trained, crate trained (where he sleeps), and knows some obedience. He does have some thinning fur (as you can see in the picture below) and gets cold in winter, but a cute little sweater will fix that right up. Rudi is looking for a new home as his owners are moving abroad and cannot take him. We feel he would do best in a home with retired or work from home individual(s) with a yard to play in and explore. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro chipped. Rudi will make an excellent addition to the right home.
