​Meet Sharkey, a 10 yr old, 13 lb, red, smooth coated male dachshund located in Arroyo Grande. He is a handsome cutie who loves to play, go for walks and run around the yard. There is a video below that shows what a sweet boy he is. Some of his favorite things to do are toy tossing and snacking on popcorn. He is house trained, leash trained, crate trained and knows some obedience. He likes to go for car rides, but not very long ones. And that is the major reason he is looking for a new forever home. His current owner lives in an rv and Sharkey is not suited for the lifestyle. It is believed he would do much better in a home with a retired person or persons. He is good with adults, older (10+) children, most other dogs, but only tolerates cats. He is neuteted, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and will make an excellent addition to the right home.
