Tanner

​Meet Tanner, a 14 yr old, 14 lb, chocolate and tan, male dachshund. Tanner is a sweet little man who loves to go for walks, have treats and be with his chosen person. He lived for quite awhile with a single quiet female and has had a hard time adjusting to and has been known to occasionally nip at a man in the home. He is not good with small children, but does get along with cats and other dogs. He was raised in an apartment in SF and was potty trained to peed pads. He now lives in a house with a yard and only has minimal accidents if taken out often. He will bark when left alone, but the company of another dog helps alleviate his anxiety. Tanner is a special needs boy as he has mitral valve heart disease and is on medicaations for that. He also has some normal age related hearing and sight issues. He is being rehomed as his owners have health issues and can no longer care for him.
