The Salinas Six

We have been contacted by a dachshund breeder located in the Salinas area who is re-homing her breeding stock due to her advancing age. At present there are six dogs available. Holly (ADOPTED) a 12 yr old spayed smooth piebàld female, Minnie A 10 yr old black and tan long haired female, Marble a 5 yr old male smooth coated chocolate dapple, Abby a 4 yr old red dapple long haired female, Turbo a 12 yr old chocolate and tan neutered smooth coat male, and Peanut a 5 yr old red long haired female. The owner indicates they will be working to spay and neuter the remaining dogs. These are very sweet and friendly dogs and have free roam of a couple of acres during the day and are penned in the garage at night. These dogs were not raised as house dogs and will need patient adopters as they acclimate and learn to be house dogs. Additionally, it is believed these dogs would do best in a home with no children as they have never been around any children. We do not know if any transport is available.
