Cherry

​Meet Cherry, a 15 year old 14 lb, spayed, senior Chiweenie lady located in Chico looking for a soft spot to land. She is a sweet girl who is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, but has no problem stealing your spot on the couch or under any blankets. She loves going for walks or car rides. She is very friendly with other smaller dogs and most cats. She will sometimes chase cats for fun, all though not very fast. She does like very much to chase squirrels though. She does have an over bite and no front teeth (she is 15 after all) so she does eat softer or wet dog food. Like most dachshunds, she is not fond of nail trims. She is looking for a new home as her owner's situation has changed a great deal over the last few years with the addition of children and now there is a new one on the way. Therefore, her owner wants to find her a quiet home where she can get the time and attention she deserves. We feel she would do best in a home with a retired person(s) or someone who works from home with a yard for her to explore and play in, with no small children. Cherry will make an exceptional addition to the right home.
