Spanky

​Meet Spanky, a handsome 11 yr old, 13.5 lb brown and tan dapple , smooth coated male dachshund located in Redding. He is a sweet boy who loves to play with his squeaker toys and enjoys a good game of fetch, but is always up for a good cuddle. He is not good with cats and will chase them. He is good with most other dogs, but prefers other smaller dogs. He is house trained, leash trained, crate trained and sleeps in his crate. He is good with most adults and older children (10+). He is being re-homed as he is not doing well with small children in his current home and gets nippy with them, therefore he will not be adopted to a home with small children. Spanky would not do well as an only dog, so would need to go to home with another dog or ideally adopted out with his brother Winston. also has Addison's Disease also known as adrenal insufficiency and takes Prednisone daily. He is neutered, micro chipped and ready for his new home.
